A good frined recently worked with The Chopping Block to establish a new identity for her burgeoning new business Fresh Pastry Stand. What began as a modest Etsy shop has snowballed into a small business thanks to recent attention from the likes of Martha Stewart, Fab.com and even Bob Villa?!

As some of you may already know, we have been arranging the icons from the most popular science fiction, fantasy and horror for some time now into various compositions that usually get printed on tshirts. We may return to this tradition again one day, but wanted to try something a bit different this year. So […]

We were recently asked  to design and help develop an interactive election themed exhibit at the National Constitution Center, located in the heart of historic Philadelphia. Election Central features eight private voting booths (see below) that ask the user to choose the 3 issues they consider most important to them in the coming election.

Tshirts are great. You can print on them, put them over your torso and they help keep you modest and warm. Admit it, deep down inside we (or at least I) all secretly want to explore the heavens untethered from the Earth and unlock all the mysteries of the universe. There is something I just love about Supermarkethq. I would never do anything to hurt Etsy’s feelings, but Supermarkethq is the newest kid on the block and we think its got legs. Big, long, lanky designer legs. One of the best things you can find there are various hand letter-pressed products (L2 Design Collective shown […]

Yesterday the kindly postman brought me another dose of design inspiration. A hot off the presses copy of It’s Nice That‘s first print issue. It’s Nice that calls it self a “online archive” of “cutting edge creative work from all over the world”. I’ve been a fan of their daily doses of diverse art and […]

Since being reincarnated as a designer (I was a hummingbird in my previous life, and Houdini the life before that), every night before going to bed I develop an insatiable appetite for design inspiration, so I prowl the interwebs for the life-blood… mainly in screenprinted form. For the time being, Good Ole Jesse, Billy Badass […]
